ABOUT RECONCILED LEATHER CO

Reconciled Leather Co exists to produce the highest level of quality, craftsmanship, and durability that can be made. We are a family run business seeking to offer worthwhile products to people who care about quality. Each product is designed and built by us, utilizing time tested methods and materials so that you get something worth your money. Our end goal is to get a product in your hands that is truly made to outlast you.

WHY BUY FROM US?

The large majority of companies producing leather goods today are following the same models that have been followed for years: repeated designs, cheap materials, and the lie that you are receiving a premium leather product.
You get a temporary feeling of joy with the price, and the initial look and feel of the product. Months later, the joy of that lower price has worn off, and all you are left with is poor quality that becomes "just another thing" you bought.

Our products are different. Rather than breaking down, and becoming just another thing to throw in a drawer, we build products that only get better year after year. True heirloom pieces. From the moment you receive our products, we guarantee that you will love the look, feel, and smell of them. As time passes, our products will soften and darken with use as they form to the cards, cash, and clothes you carry them in.
We build only with the highest quality of materials we can source. We utilize materials mostly from the USA, with some materials coming from Europe. Most items are hand stitched, but we do offer the option of machine stitching as well. Full grain leather is the only leather that we use. All of the scars, scratches, and brand marks come with this type of leather, so every piece is unique.
Full grain leather is the only kind we use, and should be the only kind you buy. This kind of leather has all the natural scars and marks that come with a hide, and keeps the full strength of the hide since no work is done to it besides the tanning process.

THE NAME

"...that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation."

The name "Reconciled" comes from 2 Corinthians 5. This chapter resonated with us because of the grace and love described throughout it. We have been given something we do not deserve, and now have the opportunity to share this gift with everyone we interact with, which is this: Christ died for sinners, in order that we may be reconciled to God.
